“Everything comes down to poo..”

There was a scrubs re-run of that episode on last night.  Pretty funny stuff.  This little story ties into that song.  My sister just called to tell me something that my niece Maggie had just said…

Maggie:  “Mommy you’re so happy!”

My sister:  “Maggie why is Mommy happy?”

Maggie:  “Cause of poop.  Cause I poop Mommy”

Awesome.

Endless Summer

Isn’t she adorable?  Funny thing about this photo…I think I have one just like it somewhere of me.

These are days

This has been the best visit with Maggie and my sister.  The weather is totally awesome and Maggie has been in a great mood over the past few days.  She is growing up to be an amazing little girl.

Look who is here!

Look at how much she has grown!  And she is turning into such a mommy’s little girl too.  She’s just too adorable.

I got off work early today and it was suppose to rain, but no rain in sight yet.  We went up to Kierland thinking that Maggie could play in the fountains, but the wind was picking up and it’s a wee bit too chilly.  We’re home now and she’s been trying to nap for the past hour.  I hear crying every now and then from t he guest bedroom.  She’s totally fighting it.  I wanted to take a nap with her but she won’t have anything to do with me right now.  It’s all about mommy.

I got the paperwork from the fertility doc.  I thought the appointment was today, but it’s next Wed.  So nothing to report yet.

I’ll post more Maggie pictures later.

Next steps

After visiting with the shrink this morning and after everyone left the office today I made the appointment that I have been too scared to make.  I’m going to see a fertility specialist on Wed.  It’s been seven years since we have tried to prevent getting pregnant and no pitter patter of little feet.  I’m turning 35 this year, it’s time to figure out what is wrong before it’s too late.  I don’t want time to make the decision for me.  We’ll see what happens and go from there.

Maggie and my sister are going to be here tomorrow.  I’ve never been more excted to see Maggie as I am now.  She has grown so much over the past six months.  It’s amazing how much she looks like me.  I’ll take pictures along the way.

Also, happy birthday to my friend Michelle.  Go send her birthday wishes.

The sunshine of my life
