I am so, so sorry for your loss. I happened to click over to your post from the link on BlogHer ads and my heart just sank for you. I experienced a miscarriage in August and know how completely heartbreaking it is. Lots of love to you.

Go, but only if you want to. I was a lot closer with the people that graduated the year after me. I really couldn't stand most of the people in my class. I didn't go to the 10 year, but like you I will probably go to the 20 year as well. You could get much amusement out of going, who knows.

..Reunions can be fun, funny, awkward, etc. etc.. I've been to all of mine, and people come out of the woodwork that you never even thought that they knew you existed..Even a few weeks ago at church one of the ole "Pom Pom" girls recognized me and started a conversation with me..I never had a conversation at all with her in the four years of high school..I'll have another reunion coming up next year and will also go...You can always leave if it's not working for you, at least you gave it a shot..I usually go with someone that also graduated the same year, or a friend..spouses get bored..

Right there with you ladies. I'm 35 years old, the mother of 4 kids, and I am 100% hooked on this series. I didn't even know it existed until it came out in the theater last fall. An exchange student we had was going to the premiere with her friends and couldn't recall the name. I looked up movies coming out that night and was like, "Um, Twilight? What is that?" She told me it was based on a book series and I was still clueless. She came home and said the movie was AWESOME and then she started reading the books she borrowed from her friends. I didn't understand the obsession at all - she was staying up till 3 AM on school nights to read it (it took her longer b/c English was not her native language). I then found out my mom owned the first two books, so I asked if I could borrow them. I could not BREATHE after reading the first one and had to start the second one immediately. I read them both in two days and then I was fully dying to get my hands on the third. I had to borrow it from the library (thank God they had it in!) and again with the 4th. The whole series was done in 4 days (while working from home, homeschooling my brain injured son and caring for an active toddler). I was blown away! I rented the movie and was so sad at how poorly it came out compared to the book. I have yet to ever see a movie do justice to a book, though. Anyway, I recently purchased the whole series from a book club and again tore through them. I bought the movie yesterday and am watching it for the third time (while also reading Midnight Sun for the second time).
I don't know if attachment to the series is directly proportional to the level of desire in our lives to have our own Edward, but... dang, Edward just MELTS me!! LOL Yes, you're in good company :)

I know it sucks now, but just think of the end result. I had insomnia with both boys, never slept well the whole nine months with either one.

cool that you have a much earlier Dr.s appt.

UHH...I am almost 50 years old and am addicted to "Twilight" too. I watched the movie first and was not the least bit impressed. My grown children kept talking about it and still nothing...then...someone left the book out and while waiting for something, I forget now what it was, I started reading it. Four days later, and I am not kidding about this, I had read the entire series. I've seen the movie two more times and have reserved a copy of the DVD. I cannot wait for the next movie and feel a kind of sadness that it is all over. I have NEVER expierenced anything like this and find it highly amusing. Ladies, the attraction is the desire we all have to find someone that feels that strongly for us, that would protect us with his life AND his family would love us! I think we all want our "Edward" and some, not many, but some are lucky enough to come close, but let's face it. It's not reality and please don't hold out, waiting for this fairy tale ending. It may not happen and your "Sort of Edward" will have passed you by!
